Policies and Procedures
The Policies and Procedures are meant to serve as a guide for
the faculty, administrators and staff at the University of
Connecticut Health Center. In some instances, the information
given will not be comprehensive but will refer the reader to the
appropriate document for further detail. It will enable readers
to know the basic philosophy of the University regarding
research as it is expressed in its Research and other Policies.
It should further provide you with the offices, which provide
information, support and regulation of research activities.
Finally, this information is intended to inform the reader
regarding what can and cannot be done within the research
paradigm. Supplementary income, consulting, use of university
facilities, intellectual property, and other outcomes of
research will be mentioned with the hope that the reader will
clearly understand the university's policies and regulations
regarding such matters.
