Paul is
responsible for a variety of duties, which include:
pre-award grant application verification which may include
assisting the department with developing budgets; negotiate
contracts directly related to grants or sponsored programs;
processing awards, material transfers, Institutional Prior
Approval System (IPAS). He also serves as a liaison between
administration, faculty and granting agencies. The

Debbie is a Sponsored Program Specialist for ORSP. In
this role she is responsible for a variety of duties, which

Alison is the Research Compliance Monitor for the Animal
Care Committee (ACC). She coordinates the activities of the
ACC; acts as a liaison between the ACC, faculty, and
administration; inspects laboratories and reviews animal
care and use protocols for regulatory compliance; prepares
reports for federal agencies; and serves as a resource
person for regulatory issues involving the use of laboratory
animals as research subjects. She is also the module
administrator of the InfoEd Laboratory Animal Management
database system.

David is the Systems Coordinator for ORSP and for the
InfoEd eRA system. His primary responsibilities include
providing system administration and technical support for
the various modules within InfoEd, which include Proposal
Development, Proposal Tracking, Lab Animal Management, Human
Subjects Management, Safety Management and Technical
Transfer. His other duties include: configuring security
setups; creating Genius profiles; training InfoEd users on
the various modules; maintaining integrity of current
modules; assisting departments regarding research and system
related inquiries and the InfoEd reporting tools; acting as
the liaison with the IT department.

Gloria is the Executive Assistant for ORSP. Her position
is comprised of various responsibilities, which include:
various pre-award application activities; processing of
HCRAC fund applications and maintenance of databases; verify
student travel; travel authorizations for staff;
verification of billing and invoicing; on-line FedEx for
applications, contracts.

Zofia provides administrative support for ORSP as a
Financial Clerk. Zofia's main responsibilities include
preparation of Fiscal Packages to Research Finance which
includes verifying awarded budgets and ensuring that the
awards are in compliance with UCHC policies on Human
Subjects, Vertebrate Animals and IBC (Research Safety).
Zofia manages Grant Awards communications from various
Sponsors and emails the distribution of awards to
appropriate departments. Additionally, Zofia’s
responsibilities include review and verification of
Institutional Prior Approval System (IPAS) forms and
maintaining the InfoEd system database by entering and
updating it with award information. Zofia enjoys her work
and being a part of the ORSP team.

Miriam is an Administrative Program Assistant II and is
the administrative support for ORSP. Her responsibilities
include: precise organization and maintenance of complex
filing system which includes federal, state and private
organizations/sponsors; processing and distribution of all
ORSP related materials; data entry into InfoEd system as
needed. Miriam also assists Zofia with the Fiscal Packages
and the Grant Award mailbox.

Danielle is an Administrative Program Assistant I for
ORSP. Her responsibilities include: processing and
distribution of ORSP related materials; data entry into the
InfoEd system as needed; managing contract routing and
distribution., various pre-award application activities;
broadcast messages relating to ORSP, and ACC related tasks.
